Kawarau River Whitewater Rafting
Embark on a scenic adventure down the Kawarau River, an ideal introduction to whitewater rafting. The river’s gentle to moderate rapids provide a thrilling experience, as you paddle and swim through Grade 2-3 whitewater rapids, taking in the stunning scenery.
For thrill-seekers, an optional cliff-jumping section offers an exhilarating experience, weather permitting.
You’ll also have the opportunity to tackle the famous 400-meter Dog Leg rapid, the longest commercially rafted rapid in New Zealand.
After your adventure, unwind with a hot shower at our Rafting Base.
