Canyoning, Mt Aspiring, Fullday

From $499.00 NZD Per Adult

Dive into a full-day Mt Aspiring Canyoning adventure with abseils, jumps, slides, and swims through stunning waterfalls and wilderness landscapes.

The experience

Get ready to dive headfirst into New Zealand’s wild side with this unforgettable Mt Aspiring Canyoning experience. Tucked deep within the pristine Mt Aspiring National Park, this full-day adventure serves up towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and exhilarating canyon descents.

You’ll start your journey by meeting your experienced canyoning guides, who’ll fit you out with top-quality safety gear and run through a comprehensive briefing before heading out to one of New Zealand’s most remote canyoning locations. Mt Aspiring Canyoning is famous for its rugged, untouched beauty — and with strictly limited numbers allowed in the park, this adventure is reserved for a fortunate few each season.

This action-packed day delivers a perfect blend of adrenaline and nature. Expect to abseil down waterfalls, jump into deep, crystal-clear pools, navigate natural water slides, and scramble over boulders as you explore the canyon. The entire route takes you through a wilderness playground shaped by water and rock over centuries.

No prior canyoning experience is needed, though a medium level of fitness is required. You’ll need to be comfortable wearing a wetsuit for up to three hours while climbing, swimming, leaping, and laughing your way through some of New Zealand’s most stunning scenery. It’s an epic way to challenge yourself and tick off a serious adventure from your bucket list.

A fresh, satisfying lunch is included to refuel mid-adventure, so be sure to provide your dietary requirements at the time of booking.
