Join us for an unforgettable adventure through the breathtaking mountains. Our guided sightseeing tours cater to families and corporate groups, with options for a BBQ lunch or a romantic sunset dinner at one of our exclusive, pristine mountain locations.

Climb aboard our heated, enclosed side-by-side snowcat and enjoy the stunning views of our vast, snow-covered terrain from a unique perspective. Our tours accommodate groups of 1-5 people and start at $2099 per group. Choose from two convenient departure locations: Kingston Station near Queenstown or Robrosa Station near Wanaka, weather permitting.

Alternatively, take a scenic drive to our locations via the 1.5-hour route each way.

Check In
A check-in time will be confirmed with you once your booking is complete.
Location: Kingston Station near Queenstown.
Transport
We pickup from New World Frankton (near Queenstown) and ride near Kingston, can self drive as well.
Additional Inclusions
Not included, please bring snacks.

The restrictions

Physical
Good level of fitness, Walking and may need to climb, in and out of the snow cat.
Accessibility
We are a remote back country operation we do not cater for wheel chairs, or people with disabilities or injuries.
Pregnancy & Babies
Not suitable for pregnant women and babies.
Children
Minimum age 16 YRS - a guardian or parent must accompany the child on the tour.

The common questions

Cameras are recommended, but carried at your own risk. No Drones.
Gear you need to bring includes:
– Winter Boots
– Gloves
– Warm under-layers
– Wool socks
– Waterproof jacket
– Waterproof pants / ski pants
Keep your belongings with you.
Weather check, 1 hr before trip.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
Full payment is due prior to starting the tour.
Snowmoto New Zealand reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time (typically due to inclement weather, unsafe backcountry travel conditions or guide injury/sickness). In the event of cancellation, the customer will be offered the opportunity to either reschedule or receive a 90% refund.
Cancellation by the customer no less than 30days – 90% refund.
Cancellation by the customer 29 days or less before the tour date – 0% refund.
