Duration
DURATION: 10 HRS
TIME OF TOUR: 7.30 AM
Check In
7:30AM. Exact check-in time will be confirmed with you once your booking is complete.
Location: New World Supermarket Queenstown.
Transport
We pickup from New World Frankton (near Queenstown) and ride near Kingston, can self drive as well.
Additional Inclusions
Not included. We all buy food at the New World Supermarket before leaving for the day.
Please bring water and high energy food to place in your backpack for the day.

The restrictions

Physical
We highly recommend having some motorcycle experience, either on the road, dirt, or snow. You need to be comfortable using the clutch and gears, as well as the throttle and brake. A reasonable level of riding fitness. The bikes are all 450cc so you will need confidence. Experience consecutive hours in cold weather, the weather can change within minutes. Able to follow complex directions.
Accessibility
We are a remote back country operation we do not cater for wheel chairs, or people with disabilities or injuries.
Pregnancy & Babies
Not suitable for pregnant women and babies.
Children
16 years of age minimum - a guardian or parent must accompany the child on the tour.

The common questions

Cameras are recommended, but carried at your own risk. No Drones.
What we wear: (Rental Gear Available Onsite)
– Alpine Star Drystar Boots With Thermal Socks or Snowboard Boots
– Moto x Helmet (must be valid to NZ standards)
– Ski Google’s
– Thermal Underwear
– Winter Gloves
– Ski Pants and Jacket or Warm Waterproof Outer Wear
– Beanie / Balaclava
– Spare Gloves
– Spare Warm Layer

We inspect each clients gear upon arrival. You can rent gloves and goggles and any other gear if we feel what you bring is not adequate.
Our goal is for you to have a enjoyable experience which is why we offer key pieces of gear to make your day warm and amazing.
Keep your belongings with you in a back pack, keep it minimal.
Weather check, 1 hr before trip.

In the event of bad weather and not being able to ride at all, Snowmoto will contact you to reschedule your ride day. If this is not possible, you will have booking credit in the form of a Gift Voucher.
If we are riding and part way through the day we have to abort the ride due to bad weather we will give you a credit on a pro rata system:
$100 refund per hour not ridden
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
Full payment is due prior to starting the tour.
Snowmoto New Zealand reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time (typically due to inclement weather, unsafe backcountry travel conditions or guide injury/sickness). In the event of cancellation, the customer will be offered the opportunity to either reschedule or receive a 90% refund.
Cancellation by the customer no less than 30days – 90% refund.
Cancellation by the customer 29 days or less before the tour date – 0% refund.
