Rev up your engines and get ready for an adrenaline-fueled adventure with our Snow Moto – Full Day Adventure & QT Snowmobile & Craft Beer Tour!

Explore the serene winter landscapes of the mountains on a guided snowmobile tour, taking in the breathtaking views and fresh mountain air. After working up an appetite, head to a local craft brewery for a behind-the-scenes tour and tasting experience. Sample some of the region’s best brews.

This full-day adventure is the perfect combination of speed, scenery, and suds.

Our pre-planned package is designed to maximize your time and travel efficiency, with activities set in advance. Please note that there are no substitutions allowed on the activities, and the package is subject to availability. If an activity becomes fully booked, the package may need to be restructured.

Check in closes 30 min before departure time for all activities.
Location: At activities offices in the CBD.
Transport
Convenient Central Queenstown pick up or allocated pick up locations.

The restrictions

Physical
We highly recommend having some motorcycle experience, either on the road, dirt, or snow. You need to be comfortable using the clutch and gears, as well as the throttle and brake. A reasonable level of riding fitness. The bikes are all 450cc so you will need confidence. Experience consecutive hours in cold weather, the weather can change within minutes. Able to follow complex directions. Valid passport for ID.
Accessibility
Individuals using wheelchairs may face challenges participating in this activity and is not recommended.
Pregnancy & Babies
Not suitable for pregnant women.
Children
Adult Only - As there is alcohol on this tour.

The common questions

Cameras are recommended, but carried at your own risk, must be mounted. ( At activities discretion.)
Dress for the weather – comfortable clothes, closed toe shoes are a must/ Layer up, What we wear: (Rental Gear Available Onsite Snowmoto) / Alpine Star Drystar boots with thermal socks or Snowboard boots / Moto x Helmet (must be valid to NZ standards) / Ski Google’s / Thermal underwear / Winter Gloves / Ski pants and Jacket or warm waterproof outer wear / Beanie / Spare gloves / Spare warm layer.
Bring a small backpack with you to hold your belongings.
All trips operate dependent on weather. A weather check will be required 1 HR before your time.
We have multiple supplies available on our curated packages, which are subject to our standardized cancellation policy.

Our standard cancellation policy of written notice 4 days prior for full refund applies for this activity. For more information please refer to our terms and conditions.

However, snow-moto cancellations have their own unique policy, attached below.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings.
Full payment is due prior to starting the tour.
Snowmoto New Zealand reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time (typically due to inclement weather, unsafe backcountry travel conditions or guide injury/sickness). In the event of cancellation, the customer will be offered the opportunity to either reschedule or receive a 90% refund.
Cancellation by the customer no less than 30days – 90% refund.
Cancellation by the customer 29 days or less before the tour date – 0% refund.
