The Cardrona First Timer Package is the ultimate introduction to skiing or snowboarding for complete beginners. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, this comprehensive package ensures your first day on the slopes is both fun and stress-free.
The Experience
Start your day by heading up to the renowned Cardrona Alpine Resort, where the friendly team will get you kitted out with all the equipment you need. The package includes a lift pass for the dedicated beginner’s area, ski or snowboard rental, and two group lessons with experienced instructors from the Snow Sports School.
You’ll begin with a gentle introduction on the Learner Conveyor tunnel, a stress-free way to get the feel of moving on snow. From there, progress to the Beginners’ Area, which features gentle slopes and easy-to-use lifts designed to build your skills and confidence at your own pace.
Lessons and Facilities
The Cardrona First Timer Package includes two group lessons tailored to first-timers, covering everything from getting on and off the lift to controlling your speed and learning your first turns. There’s even a dedicated Kids’ Conveyor, so younger learners can build their skills in a safe and supportive space.

Additional Information
Be sure to allow enough time for equipment fitting before your lesson begins. Aim to be at the lesson meeting area at least 10 minutes early. The Cardrona First Timer Package is available throughout the 2025 winter season, tentatively from June 15 to October 5.
