The common questions

Cameras are recommended, but carried at your own risk.
Sturdy footwear, supportive hiking shoes with a closed toe and no slip tread / Adequate layers as the weather can change rapidly and maybe different to town/ Waterproof jacket, water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, small day pack, hat, gloves and snacks.
Bring a small back pack to keep your belongings with you.
