Departing from Queenstown at 9:00am, you’ll enjoy a 2-hour scenic flight over the Southern Alps, with breathtaking views of Lake Wanaka, Lake Hawea, Lake Pukaki, and the Franz and Fox Glaciers before landing in Mt. Cook National Park at Aoraki/Mt. Cook Airport. From there, team up with your professional guide for up to 2 hours of heli hiking across the Tasman Glacier, New Zealand’s largest, exploring stunning ice formations and following your guide as they cut steps in the glacier using techniques passed down from New Zealand’s mountain pioneers. After the hike, there is time to grab a bite in Mt. Cook Village before returning to Queenstown via a different scenic flight path, taking in the tussock-covered Lindis Pass.
