Your adventure begins at the Nzone Drop Zone, just minutes from Queenstown’s bustling town center. Following a comprehensive safety briefing from your expert Jumpmaster, you’ll suit up in state-of-the-art skydiving gear and board the aircraft for a 15-minute scenic flight over the Remarkables, Lake Wakatipu, and the picturesque Queenstown surrounds.
As the plane climbs, your heart will race — but this is where courage takes over. At altitude, you and your Jumpmaster will edge toward the open aircraft door, and with one deep breath, you’ll dive into a freefall reaching speeds up to 200kph. The sensation of plummeting through the sky is exhilarating, like nothing else on earth.
For up to 60 seconds of freefall, you’ll experience pure adrenaline, unmatched views, and total freedom. Then, your parachute opens, and everything changes. The adrenaline gives way to serenity as you float gently for 4–5 minutes back to earth, taking in the incredible alpine scenery of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, and the distant Southern Alps.
