Experience the Best of Queenstown’s Wine Country
Join us for a unique and unforgettable mountain biking adventure in Queenstown. Our Winter Bike The Wineries Tour begins with a shuttle from our shop in Queenstown to the charming gold-mining village of Arrowtown. Once there, you’ll receive all the necessary gear, including a high-quality mountain bike or E-bike, helmet, and detailed briefing.
From Arrowtown, you’ll embark on a scenic ride along the Arrow River, crossing spectacular swing-bridges and eventually reaching the iconic Kawarau Suspension Bridge. From there, you’ll have the freedom to explore the Gibbston Wine Valley at your own pace, stopping at wineries, cellar doors, and enjoying a picnic or lunch along the way.
With plenty of opportunities to sample some of the world’s best Pinot Noir, you’ll experience the best of Queenstown’s wine country. The ride distance is approximately 15 km to the first winery and 25 km to the end of the valley. We’ll collect you from your chosen winery at 4:30 PM (Sep – Apr) or 4:00 PM (May – Aug) and return you to Queenstown.

**To ensure you have an awesome experience at the wineries, it is best to book your tastings and lunch in advance. We can help with timings once you have booked with us.
The wineries are independently owned and operated, so tastings are not included in the price of this package, but the average cost is around $20pp per winery. **
