Your Altitude Tours guide meets you and your small group at our convenient central Queenstown pickup before journeying into the great Gibbston wine region.
GT Tasting
Our first stop on the tour is the GT Tasting Room, situated at the historic Gibbston Tavern. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in wine or local craft beers. The wine is locally grown and produced, and the beer hails from a just 1 km down the road. Experience the unique charm of the Gibbston region at the historic tavern.
Kinross
Next, to Kinross Cellar Door. By now the fun has kicked in (or the tastings). Here, you’ll experience a hosted wine tasting with Kinross and the five boutique wine partners they represent. Sample a selection from each producer, including some of the most globally awarded Pinot Noirs. If you’re a beer enthusiast, enjoy sampling four beers from the local small batch brewery.
Canyon Brewing
As we venture back towards Queenstown, your third stop is at Canyon Brewing in Arthurs Point, where they believe good beer is best served fresh and with friends. By now, your small group will feel like great buddies, and fresh beer will be flowing from their taps. This is the perfect time to sit down, relax, and socialize with your group. Enjoy tasting flights of either Canyon’s crafted brews or local wines. Indulge in a shared grazing platter to satisfy your palate before we return to Queenstown, just in time for your dinner reservation or other evening plans.
