The Kea Tour is the fastest, longest, and most adrenaline-filled zipline experience in Queenstown. Designed for thrill-seekers, this epic adventure features six exhilarating ziplines, including the world’s steepest tree-to-tree zipline, where you’ll descend the equivalent of 30 storeys at speeds of up to 70 km/h.

Set high above the mountains, the tour combines heart-pounding ziplines with a scenic walk through native beech forest and breathtaking views over Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding alpine landscape. It’s a truly unique and unforgettable way to descend the mountain.

A moderate level of fitness is required due to a steep and uneven downhill forest walk. Please contact us if you have specific mobility or fitness considerations.

Good to know:
Guests who present a valid Skyline Gondola ticket at treehouse check-in will receive a stamp allowing re-upload on the gondola after completing the Kea Tour.

Moa Zipline Tour

The Moa Tour is the perfect introduction to ziplining in Queenstown and is ideal for families, beginners, and anyone looking for a fun outdoor adventure with stunning scenery.

This guided aerial experience features four progressively longer and faster ziplines, starting low and gentle before building confidence as you glide higher above the forest. Enjoy spectacular views across Lake Wakatipu to The Remarkables while learning from friendly, knowledgeable guides who make the experience both safe and entertaining.

The tour starts and finishes at the top of the Skyline Gondola, with just a short uphill walk to begin.

Location: Ziptrek Treehouse, located 100m from the top of the Skyline gondola. *NOT our Central Queenstown booking office.
Transport
No, as our Treehouse base is located on top of the Gondola, located in CBD.
You can walk or self drive to Skyline base building, as you are required to take gondola up to Treehouse base building.

For those driving, Skyline has a multi-storey car park offers 297 spaces, located just behind the Skyline Gondola base terminal.
Your parking time starts automatically via our license plate recognition system. To pay, simply scan your valid Skyline Gondola ticket at the pay station for a discount, enter your license plate, and settle the balance.

Ziptrek Ecotours is an adventure activity set high above the ground, within a forest environment. If you have a fear of heights, please keep this in mind when considering the experience.

The common questions

Cameras are recommended, but carried at your own risk, provided they can be secured in a pocket or via a strap.
Dress for the weather, enclosed footwear is a must. Queenstown is an alpine environment and extra layers are always required, even in summer.
NO – Please keep personal belongings to a minimum as you will be carrying it with you during your tour. Leave all luggage and large backpacks at your accommodation.
