Departing from Milford Sound wharf in the late afternoon, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the fiord’s waterfalls, rainforest, mountains, and wildlife, guided by a specialist who will share insights into the area’s history and geology. The Milford Mariner will anchor in a sheltered cove, where you can explore by tender craft or kayak, or simply relax on deck. Brave souls might even take a refreshing swim, weather permitting. As evening falls, savor a delicious carvery buffet prepared by our on-site chef, and unwind with fellow travelers or retire to your private cabin.
The next morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore more of the fiord. The trip includes one night onboard, with accommodations ranging from private cabins with ensuite bathrooms to quad-share bunk-style compartments.
A three-course buffet dinner and a full buffet breakfast are provided, along with complimentary tea and coffee. Kayaking and tender craft activities are included, and there is a licensed bar onboard accepting cash only.
